525efi camshafts

looking for a pair of good 525 camshafts to put in my 500efi motors that converted to blowers and carbs. Thanks

Was this brought up last week. Do a google search on the 741 cam. Might surprise you what you can find a couple new ones for. Just a thought. Good used cams typically go for half the price of new so your loooking at 400 00 difference for the the two of them. Give or take.... I completely understsnd about saving a buck here and there but you are adding blowers and carbs etc. Not a 100% but there are some years to stay away from if you purchase used. Bad ring gear or something. Can't remember for sure.

If it matters to the OP, The 525EFI and 741 use the same lobes but the 741 is ground with a 112LSA. The 525EFI with a 114LSA.

Correct I should have stated that. If reversion is a concern then you can make the choice but just as a reference there are a lot of 741's with wet exhaust and zero issues. Tks SB for correcting me.
