Why do you need a pair? One dongle can run multiple engines.

I am under the impression it is one for ach engine - educate me if I am wrong. Was hoping to have an IPAD/DROID single screen split with all the data for both.
Thanks

You connect the single dongle to your Smartcraft backbone. If you don't have that then you will need Mercury cabling for twin motors, a junction box, and some terminators.
You "could" run two dongles without a common Smartcraft backbone but then you would have to run the Vessel View mobile app on separate (two) devices.

Diagram is very helpful. So I dont have smartcraft anything so can I just pick up the following:?
Qty 1 4Way Junction box with weather caps
Qty 1 CAN P Jumper cable
Qty 1 Multiwake harness
Qry 1 Vesselview Mobile dongle
Does that work for two motors or must I have two 4Way junctions?
Thanks!
