They don't look terribly tall - figure most carbed engines have a taller intake manifold, then the carb / tbi, then the 3"+ marine air cleaner I could see them being about equal
Then again my perspective from the picture alone could be way off and my reasoning equally wrong |
I have these. They are fresh . Probably a lot more power than your looking for.

I have a pair of 40hrs on complete rebuild 525sc clones but improved, made 620 with 177's. I sold the baby blowers with the plan of putting 8-71's on them. Long blocks minus intake $12,000.00 US for the pair. Up in Canada so could be more of a pain than it's worth.
