Default MSD RPM Limiter Chips

Anybody holding onto a 6400 or 6600 RPM chip for a MSD box their willing to let go? New motor peaked at 6300 and all I have is a 6000.... Figured I'd ask before buying a whole set.Thanks in advance and feel free to reply or PM me with a price with shipping to NJ - 08731

I have two 6400 and one 6800 if that helps. all the rest are 7000 and up

Ya, that could work if you'd be willing to sell one of the 6400 chips... Don't think I'd want to risk spinning up to 6800... I'll shoot you a PM

if you have good valve springs and good rods let her turn up to 7000 it makes music at that rpm

thats my thinking, our open class engines and super cat engines were limited at 7800 but we could turn them 8200 for a short burst if needed. that was back before the limiter rules. How Sweet it Is with the turbo motors spun 8200 all the time but had trouble finishing a 120 mile race. nothing sounds better than a big chevy running in the mid 7000's.
