I also have 2 take out cams, lifters, rods and springs. I bought these Gen 6 502 motors used and had to rebuild them including boring due to water damage. I have no idea what these numbers mean.
This is what is marked on the cams: Cam#1, MHP-300 other markings are 16-46-01 and 169611B and 01G2A
Cam#2, MHP-300 other markings are 16-47-98 and 169516 and 98J1C
Where are you located? Shipping would be costly!

So between the lobes on 1 end of the cam, the number reads:169516 98K2B
Then on the very end of the cam, the number reads: MHP 301 16-51-98
I hope this helps.

I looked the numbers up and see what I can find what I’ve learned so far is those cams that come out of the boat or a mercury base cam and you can’t really look the numbers up for them at least I have not been able to

Let me see what I can find out. The camshaft came with a short block and a set of cylinder heads that I purchased in a bundle deal. On the box the camshaft was in, it said HP 500 on the end of it.(Hand written) but I don’t know for sure if that is what it actually is… let me do some research.
