Recently picked up a 2000 27' world class, 454 efi low hours on the motor but the hull has alot of scrapes and dings and the interior has alot of exposure. I have left it with a company to do a color shine and buff to see how much will clean up. After I get it back I will start with cleaning up the interior and would like to add a swim platform, the bravo one outdrive has some play and have been told that the gimble may be out. I have read other threads on adding hp to the motor but don't want to loose the reliability (family boat). Also thought about hydraulic steering. Excited about the project but new to performance boating.
Would love any input.
Will add photos soon.

No Dave! I bought it out west here. I've been told I really don't need the external steering with only a 454. I would like to add some hp, any of you know the best way without loosing reliability.
Will try to post photos as soon as I can figure out how to reduce the size of the photos.
