27 Ft Warlock World Class
I wanted to see if anyone could give some general info on these boats. I'm in the market for a boat, 27-30 ft and this hull came on my radar. Are the stepped hulls? How many steps? What degree V is it? How much does a rigged 27 weigh (with a 500 or 524)? Also interested in how they handle, including how they handle in choppy water. Is there a comparison to another boat that can be made to give me a general understanding of the handling characteristics?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I raced a 27 in F1 back in 1999. It handles the rough good but the serpetine single step is a handful to keep the boat going straight. It has wooden floors with carpet glued down. For the money if it's cheap, it's an ok boat. 24 degree and probally weighs around 4600 lbs. Get a marine surveyor to closely look at any used boat.

had an 01, would buy another in a heartbeat! built like a tank, and had a cabin you could actually sit up in without ducking your head, as far as the ride you have to get some seat time to get use to the way it rides, but once you find the sweet spot it is locked in for just about any water you can find! very rewarding, it really does not like to go slow 30mph and under.
fast boats for their power, also has has high freeboard for it's size.
mine with a 496HO had a best of 73.6 and would run 70 all day long (yes gps) :
