Based on the porpoise, you where in the mid 80s...mine does the same thing on the flat water, but will disappear when you drive through it or the chop picks up.

At that time I was runing about 130. my boat does not burp till about 100 mph. Also can I see a picture of your boat.

We had the boat built. But we had to up grade the inner drive train because Carter cut some corners.
