Basically an uneven area on the bottom of the boat that resembles a bump or a "hook" Sometimes they are there on purpose to limit speed of a hull. I don't believe that personally. Rocker yes a hook no. Not a huge deal on a step bottom boat but can cost you a few mph. Not acceptable in a high end boat but was the norm for production boats. You can have te bottom blue printed and can gain a few mph.

I have a 32 bravo 1 prop. Dances like hell until i drop the tabs but then that slows me down. 575 Merc What rpm should i be running? 5300 Right now. please help lol

When my dances a shake of the wheel helps get out of it. Not sure if that helps or not on your boat. They are definitely a drivers boat which makes them fun IMO.

I have to keep counter steering the boat in order for it to drive smooth. but I'm in the driver seat left right left right right left the whole time I'm doing 75 to 85 is that normal?
