Diesel Powerplant Warlock Video
Hey guys here is another warlock video for ya.
If you like burning the tires off in your tuned diesel truck while getting 20mpg, you should look at the new powerplant options showing up for boats these days. Cummins has a healthy factory marine unit out now, not to mention the aftermarket guys like Banks and PPE.
I finally got a GPS wired into my Duramax ECM so it calculates MPG data just like the DIC in a truck. Was impressed to see 3.2mpg at 80MPH. That was on pure biodiesel which has 10k less BTU's than D1 fuel. She also logs 7-8 MPG at 60MPH. With an 82 gallon tank, that equals a cruising range of 650 miles.
