Default Warlock 38 and also Key West

Anyone heard any news or info about the new Warlock 38' Worldclass?

Also what Warlock teams are going to Key-West?

We are taking our 29 in the Florida Powerboat Clubs Key West poker run and are looking forward to seeing a big Warlock turnout in F-1.

Whats some more specs?
Is this like the old "32 Euro" POS or more like the WC. Is Carter still in his racer mode or is there gonna be a decient cabin...maybe even a head? You gonna have one anytime soon?
What gonna be the price range?
Thanks
Dan

Exclamation two versions of the 38

Dan, how are you? I just attended the Warlock regatta last weekend. Had some fun

Carter is excited about the new bottom he created for the 38, says its all new and should really run good. He wants to have two versions, a full luxury cabin and a race version.

The deck is still a while from being finished, he figures it's better to use the winter money to build store boats to sell next year rather than put it in a plug and mold.

I checked it out earlier this year, take our boat and streach it and make it taller.

Don't know about price yet, he has reduced his prices over the entire line, but I haven't been in the market so didn't check them out.

So when you coming back to the west coast?? Hope Florida is everything you wanted.

Take care, Jim

Here's what I've been told and seen. The 38 bottom is a NuEra design. Been sitting around at Warlock for a couple of years. The top, a year or so ago looks just like the rest of the Warlocks. A very similar NuEra bottom is also over at Lavey (I've been told). I hear they plan to come out with a 38 V bottom also. It may be called at 40, but it's still the same bottom with a swim step. You know custom boat builders. Most have to have a good year to spend money on tooling.

There are 6 NuEra 38's running and one with a completed hull for sale. Jim McNamara owns this one as well as 1 of the 6. The hull for sale is setup for triples and has no rigging. The killer 38 NuEra is being finished by Gary College. This one has huge triple power and some really trick features unlike any of the other 38's. It should be exciting to see as Gary has only the very best.

These boats really cut the big water well. The ones I have seen have triples. I was told by Eddie, the one at Warlock had a slight modification for running doubles. Couldn't tell you the difference. Those who have them love them. It would be nice to see a builder continue Eddie's legacy.

It will look similar to the 29 World Class, except much bigger and a triple step bottom. 38' w/ 9'beam

Jim

Who's running the boat with you? Is there any other F-1's coming from out that way?

BJ,

Craig Bradshaw is driving with me. He's a pretty good P4 driver who doesn't mind hanging it out. Maybe we can break our streak and pull off a Checkered flag. (not that you would like this). As far as other boats, Happy Place is not coming and the Lavey is undecided right now. I tried to get David back in the Lavey with the new owner. Not sure it’s going to happen. Could be they are just trying to psych us out. We’ll see.
