I was on Mead last week-end. I launched at LVM with my 34 Scarab while my friend launched his 38 Special Baja, no problems whatsovever... Water is getting nice and warm, little chop now in the early summer, perfect...

Anyone going out for Memorial Day ?? I was thinking about it....

I will be boating out there on Saturday with some friends. Possibly on Monday too. Black Formula 260 SS.

I was there 3 weeks ago and it seemed pretty nice, but the water level was low. We went to a launch in boulder basin north of lake mead marina. The lauch seems to go forever and it was also somewhat flat so I ended up dunknig the rear end of the truck a bit to launch. Seemed like a nice lake overall. Very different from the lakes and rivers and puget sound up here!

I know Mead is not near the party place that Havasu is...but I figured this weekend being a holiday/long weekend there might be some action out there. If so, where are the most popular spots people hang out - ? Wishing Well...any others ?

Temple Bar is way low. Don't even try and launch there.

I ran up to Temple Bar and got fuel. Launch ramp was really low as previously mentioned but the water levels there and in the big basin were fne...just have to use your head.
