Wahweap does have a bar you can watch the game at(been there done that). Of all the lakes I've ever been on I don't think I have ever been on one that is a beautiful as Lake Powell. If you rent a houseboat and you use it as a "base" from which you take day trips make sure you put some sort of a flag pole(PVC with a flag attached)up so you can find your way back. All the canyons begin to look the same after awhile(or after a few beers). or--bring a good GPS with you. The picture of the water cave is neat. Some of the caves are big enough you can put your boat in them. You might think of either bringing or renting a jet ski to explore on--if you do--take extra gas cans with you!!!!!!!

Honestly you don't need a little raft...just go to bass pro shop and get some of those telescoping poles to keep yourself off the walls. The water is clean enough that if there is something that you need to avoid you will be able to see it easily. At the end of most "arms" the bottom is all sand.

Jay I'll give you a call and get some info. I have a GPS in dash. I already got a bunch of LAT/LONGS of significant landmarks, marinas, canyons, etc. Working on trying to find out all the floating pump out docks.
