No, you don’t want to launch at bottle bay.

Lots of decent ramps along the River.

Dover might be the best place for that size boat. You can launch there, nice marina for dock space, and bungalows for rent through vrbo.

Looks like you have the best of both worlds, Florida and Idaho.

It’s been a lot of work in both places but yeah it’s funny sometimes how things work out.
Google Earth wasn’t a thing when I first looked at farmland on the Rathdrum prairie, I was down there 3 summers before I knew there was sooooo much awesome water besides Lake Coeur d Alene. And Lake Coeur d Alene ain’t shabby.

We have two awesome options for bigger powerboats, Flathead, which is fairly big, several options for marinas, food/drink, and you can run up the river for quite a ways which is always beautiful, Flathead does get fairly busy especially around the north and south ends. There is a nice spot we call the shallows on the north end of the lake where the locals anchor up and party. The other option is Hungry Horse Reservoir, pretty much the polar opposite of Flathead in that its very remote, no houses, or businesses anywhere on the lake, surrounded by big mountains...both are around 40 miles long. Let me know if you are interested in coming over, we can show you around.
