I have a 1980 25' martini ,procharged 489 stroker,teague platinum XR,12" extension box
That runs 90 with a labbed 28 four blade bravo
I absolutely love this boat,it eats up the niagara river and lake erie near buffalo ny.
Check it out at Sharkey images .com
2014 buffalo poker run, boats not in run
It's white with red fade from the back
Also check out Buffalo ny poker run
This run has become an awesome run for boats of all sizes
We have awesome water to run in,and great venues and people

Good day gents...
I found this thread after just having acquired a 1982 24 (25) Martinni that someone started rebuilding and gave up.
The boat seems solid enough, new floor glassed in, and new fuel tank, etc.
I hope to bring the boat back to near original condition for just as a toy for stress relief.
Amazed at the history exposed here about these boats.

I know this is a very old thread but I've always wondered if the numerous versions of the 24x7 hulls could be traced back to the 7' beam that Magoon didn't care for. I realize the Fire Fox / Banana is 8', but I'm guessing Aronow convinced someone that the 7' design was great and sold the mold or plug to P&D or Excalibur (not sure who was 1st) and one of them ran with it.

I would say that all the 7' beam 24' hulls came originally from the 7' beam 24' Magnum. You can see more here on OSO starting with post # 5.

Thanks, I remember reading that thread a while back. I guess what I really wanted to know was who made the 1st copy and how did it go down. I met Pepe at his shop years ago and I'm pretty sure he told me he copied a P&D and I think John from Superboat told me he copied a P&D as well. I'm still thinking it was either P&D or Excalibur that followed the Magnum.
