Default "92" Webber carb? 7.4

My question is, can I pull the top of my webber without removing the carbs to clean the bowls. I just purchased the boat and believe it sat often only having 260hr on a 1992 and a wate/fuel sep. full of water/rust. I am just wondering what made it into the carb....

sure, you will need to pull the metering rods and springs out first. they are located on the outer edges of the choke horn..

Webers are easy enough to work on. Just remember to also unscrew the flame arrester hold down bolt when you remove the screws to take the top off. As cbix said you should pull out the metering rods and springs before you take off the top. It is very difficult to put it back together if you don't. To remove the rods all you need to do is loosen the screw on each cover a couple of turns and then the covers will swing out of the way. Once you do it you will see how it works. Good luck.
