Trim Tab Indicator Lights Not Working????????
I was in my boat today cleaning it up and getting it ready to take it out of the garage and noticed that the trim tab light bar's don't work? the trim tabs go up and down but the lights don't? Any thought's of what could be wrong?

It sounds like you have the Bennet trim tab indicator system. if it's not working, normally (1)of two things: a) the indicator sending unit( part that is contained in upper part of hydraulic cylinder is gone, or (2)the CPU unit is shot. Unless your boat is not used at high speed, and/or not used in rough water, this system will not hold up. Bennett is great at sending parts. They have really excellent service. But, it won't fix a design not up to offshore standards.
I had them on a Formula. Biggest pieces of garbage. Tabs worked fine. But on the indicators, I replaced multiple CPU's and sending units. Bottom line, that portion of the system was junk for speeds and usaege my boat was seeing.
