Re: Trs Drive Rebuild
Might be time to upgrade to Bravos. Depending on what parts you need you may have a hard time finding them. Lower pinion gear for instance is unavailable. You will however, be able to get a fair price for those things as parts.
Good luck.

Re: Trs Drive Rebuild
I just had one rebuilt by Doller. $2k, needed lower gears, all parts still avail.
If you want I have two brand new never used $7k each.

Re: Trs Drive Rebuild
by the time you by all the special tools, rolling torque Gage, and the Merc. factory shop manual, it would have been cheaper and quicker to have a well trained qualified shop to rebuild them. Expect on replacing lower gear set as it seams as that is the weakest link in the trs
Good luck,

Re: Trs Drive Rebuild
I have a nice pair (l&r), freshened in 2001 (about 40 hours on them since then), paint looks good.
$4400 for the pair.
Put mine on and rebuild your as spares!
