Default Trs Drive Rebuild

I Have 2 Trs Drives That Need To Be Rebuilt, How Hard Is This To Do Yourself, Or Does Anyone Know A Good Shop In The North Ease Or East Coast Thanks

Might be time to upgrade to Bravos. Depending on what parts you need you may have a hard time finding them. Lower pinion gear for instance is unavailable. You will however, be able to get a fair price for those things as parts.

craig colabella in st cloud florida 407 873 0909 .he was top drive guy at lake x . all parts are still available and merc has a nla network to find a part if someone doesn't stock it..

I just had one rebuilt by Doller. $2k, needed lower gears, all parts still avail.
If you want I have two brand new never used $7k each.

by the time you by all the special tools, rolling torque Gage, and the Merc. factory shop manual, it would have been cheaper and quicker to have a well trained qualified shop to rebuild them. Expect on replacing lower gear set as it seams as that is the weakest link in the trs

I have a nice pair (l&r), freshened in 2001 (about 40 hours on them since then), paint looks good.
$4400 for the pair.
Put mine on and rebuild your as spares!
