Default Turning Props Inward Drive lube bottles overflow...Why?

So I tried turning props in instead of out just to see how the hull would react and I didn't get to run hard/long enough to see if there was any speed benefit. The drive lube bottles filled and overflowed. Put props back to spinning out and no issue at all. I am confused. Anyone have an idea?

whats your set up and outdrives - do you have the stock Merc gear oil reservoir bottle ? try buying a brand new cap and o-ring for it - also good info in the post and some of things I posted.
