I couldn't agree more. It's not just the color, it's the entire design from Fountain. There is just TOO MUCH DASH on the new 42's. It's like a Clunky Gomer design - not the sleek and sporting look that one should get from a high performance boat.

I don't think I could own one of those boats because of it.

Love the paint on both of them. But the dash would keep me from buying it. Terrible, what a shame.

I would guess that the glove box door and a new guage panell are being painted to match. Why else would you go to the expense of coordinating everything BUT the dash?

Just a guess...
