Just heard from Bob:

8 hours. 6 minutes to Isle Mujere; 8 hours, 16 minutes to Cancun.

Sounds like a record to me.

Bob said they did run into some heavy water along the way. The boat became airborne in the Yucatan Straits. They will be on the return trip tomorrow.

They will post more details later this evening after they get customs and hotels stuff straightened out.

Did they run into some problems that kept them from passing the web cam.

Please tell them how so many of us have been routing them on. As you know this record has been on your Dad's mind for a long time, so I am glad he beat it on his first shot.
