That's funny, cause when I originally replied I was thinking more about the old Mod VP STV's, but then I didn't think Wally built many of those (if any) A buddy of mine has one of the early DR-20's and his has mirrors so I guess I figured they all must.

A couple of new 300XS motors would be sweet and probably great on fuel. And for those without fuel concerns, a set of (3) 280's would be really cool.
One of these days...

I was at this race in Jasper. Didn't see all of it, but I remember the horrible sound it made when it hit the water.

It's a tribute to how well Wally puts a boat together, cause he walked away.

Yea and see no sideview mirrors...do you know how hard it would be if everytime I won't to look back I have to do this trick...No wonder Steve says I don't need them, he would be building me a new boat once a week.

I was there that year as well. My son was 4 at the time and all he talked about for weeks was how Captain Ron's boat went upside down. Ron wasn't even banged up after that flip. A little shaken but not hurt at all.

Wally just finished repairing one that hit a tree! The best part is that the tree was on the bank, not floating in the water. Again, Kim was not seriously hurt in the crash.

Yeah, I saw pics of that boat of Kim's too. Would love to see them get the little kinks outta the new DRX and really get it strollin.

I'm heading up to Alabama in a couple weeks for the Ft. Rucker 800' race. Supposedly, there will be some heavy hitters in the Unlimited class...a few folks got some really, really lightweight boats built over the winter. Should be interesting.

Got the same catalog, but those look a little light weight. They only have one bolt holding them down, don't know how well that would be in a boat in rough seas...
