They just raced, but never announced a winner. It looked like the MTI won out at the end, but its hard to tell with camera angles .

The first run was scary. We had the Starboard motor cut out for a second at about 140. Some very serious hooking! I would like to see the video of that run. We have some burnt wires and the one motor was down 1000 RPMS the 2nd. Now that we found the problem we wil hopefully do much better tomorrow. Never fails. Months of prep. Motors just got completely redone at Sterling. Test, test and test! 15 seconds into the first run a short shows up at the abslolute worst time. That Murphys law is a biotch!
