The 30 SD is 28' true length. I am looking for a larger cockpit and like I/O, but the interiors look sweet on the 30SD. Boat trader has a blue one... The pics show red as well...keep scrolling and there is a pic of the seating on a blue on. Very similiarities to 33 outlaw.

Check out the Islander line of Bajas as well as the 288 Sunsation MCOB (mid-cabin-open-bow)

I'm selling a 237 Powerquest... It feels like it has just as much room in the cockpit as my 30' Formula.

I have 26' footer, with 454 Merc Mag and bravo. Sitting for 6 iin the cockpit. I bought it long ago just for the large cockpit area and still had some gitttie up to it. 69.7 on a Kilo run, but that when it was new. Still runs good, I would replace the belts soon. $8.5K with trailer.

I think you stated a you liked I/O boats but a twin Outboard boat in that size would have a huge cockpit. And would prob really move.

I would have to agree with this. The only other option I would say is a Party Cat/Deckboat Cat. If I wasnt boating on lake michigan I would have bought a party cat.

On the Lower price of the spectrum, look at a Baja Force hull. (235, 250, 265, 280, Force and DVX ). Not the fastest boat out there but Man I love the cock pit space. I can seat 5 adults NO problem along with 2 full size coolers and the ladies hand bags (more like suitcases, lol!) and have plenty of room.

My personal record for amount of people I have had on my 265 DVX is 9! 8 in the cock pit and 1 sitting on a cooler in the cuddy looking out!. This is how it went down, 4 on back bench, 2 sitting on coolers facing in. (2 coolers, 1 behind each bolster seat) 1 in each bolster seat (dah! lol) and the other one sitting on a cooler in the cuddy.

It did slow the boat down to 45 mph. I should have swapped props to my 19 pitch ha ha ha!

I would almost put a bet, that force hulls have the biggest cock pit space when compaired against another boat of same length, (performance boats only lol!~)

Yes, the 288 cockpit is pretty roomy. You can bring a solid amount of friends, 6 for sure, maybe more if they are smaller women and a couple big coolers no problem.
