I had C&C T-Tops on my 1987 Trans Am L98; and actually I think they were a better design than the factory.
About 3 years ago, I ran across a LINCOLN with T-Tops. YES, it was a 1977 or so Lincoln Mark V. I was just flabbergasted when I came across it as I am infatuated with T-Top cars.
I did a TON of research and digging, and found the oldest guy at http://www.sunroofdoctor.com/.
Turns out, he actually did the install on this car, back in the late 70s. It was an aftermarket kit designed for the Ford LTD, but it also fit the Mark V. They only installed these tops on FIVE, Lincoln Mark Vs.
I didn't buy it because I was scared of it & scarcity of parts. I kick myself ALL THE DAMN TIME for that mistake. Of 5 ever put together, this was likely the only one left, and it was in almost excellent condition. It was identical to this one: , plus the T-Tops.
Stupid, stupid, STUPID mistake.

I have a small & soft turnaround in the woods now for the smaller trailers, but no way I can swing the big boat around.

This is a few months back when we had the bad storms and hurricane come through. We had to grease up y_schmidt's pontoon to get it to fit inside for the weekend. My 17' cat is behind the 'Toon as is my GF's VW Beetle. I moved the golf cart over and actually squeezed another car in by inches during the storms as well. It was TIGHT.

My buddy's uncle did NASCAR for a while, after the last wreck the concussions kept him out, so he took the car and made this and it is 100% street legal, coolest thing ever!!
Also built a street legal truck too...

Shut up. Now you are just making me more mad. You and that damn Chevelle.
Are there any more of those IROC widebodies stuck in an attic anywhere?!?! Or did Dale destroy all of them?
I also have thoughts of finding a local stock car like this one, and taking it back to barely street legal with antique tags.
And YES, I'd cut the roof and bars and make it a T-Top.
I don't have a lift in my barn yet. That is somewhat of a purposeful delimiter for me, as I'd be dragging all kinds of wayside left projects home and my GF would disown me.
