GLH,
The little guy is adorable! Looking forward to seeing you in a few weeks.
Airtime,
Still run 4x4 races. The radar run is new for this year. Are you coming up? How about you Checkmate981?

Rick, how did you find the intake leak, Are you coming up on Sunday to work on the boat ?? If so how about some breakfast together. I ran my engines on the hose the other night to heat them up because the boat isnt winterized and I burnt up an impeller. Always something isnt it !!
AS far as docks go, who knows ?? Iam planning on using Neptunes dock as we will probably be in there all night anyways. Call me at home or on the cell

How are you getting away with noise and speed on that lake on a weekend? I thought they were tough about that. That's why I don't plan trips to Lake George anymore.
Just curious. Beautiful lake though.

The Plan
After a morning of planning(it' cold and raining this morning, glad I took the rig out yesterday) here is my plan, for the locals please expose any flaws in my thinking;
-Leave Burlington Saturday morning early ~6:30-7 AM, Go 59 Miles to Black Point Rd, Ticonderoga. And splash there:
(D) - Essex County, Mossy Point. On Black Point Road, two miles north of the Village of Ticonderoga on east shore of Lake George. Hard surface launching ramp. Parking for 100 cars and trailers. Pumpout.
got it from the New York State Boat Launching Sites http://www.dec.state.ny.us/website/d.../foe4cbl2.html
- On the North end of the lake by 9:00AM give or take 30 minutes Haul my a$$ to wherever you guys figure you want to meet...From my summary observation approx 35 miles to South Side of the lake, so max 45-60 min that would put us in the general vicinity of the activities around 10 AM give or take 30-45 Minutes. It is mentioned that that Queen boat thing race starts from Bolton Landing so we may not need to go all the way to the south end right off.
- I have both Shane and Bob's Cell phone # programmed in my Cell
Now a few questions for the people more in the know;
-Bob's idea of using Neptunes dock for the overnight on Saturday is right up my alley. Do I need to make reservations or anything? I have the phone number but I would like to be able to hook up for the night with the most amount of people possible I love the idea of being docked for the night at a pub
-Sunday we will play it by ear for the activities and the radar run then make our merry way back up north.
I know it sounds a little anal but I'm the laziest slob on the planet so if I don't plan crap out I'll never do anything but go five miles out in the middle of Lake Champlain and read a book!!!!
So you locals (Shane, Bob/Otis311,...)let me know if this makes sense? CYA

PS: That boat makes that Excursion look like the size of a CJ-5!!!

GLH,
Sounds pretty good. The BIG BOAT race (cruise boats) is in the evening. Mossy point's public launch is really nice. Bob and or I could meet you part way and escort you throught the narrows if you are not comfortable going through there alone. Not bad though. Very well marked.
Toolman,
Speed and noise restrictions lifted for the event. During the season if you are not abusing it, they usually look the other way on those regulations anyway.
Otis311,
I have to pick up the Skater tomorrow at some point. What time were you thinking about?
