Good luck everyone. You all are in our prayers.

All is well in Boca right now. Just got in from checking up on someone on Powerline, and hillsboro(Century Village), not bad at all right now, Expecting to get worse later today.

Las Olas Isles area is a ghost town. It is eerily quiet (except for the winds and rain)since yesterday afternoon.
All my windows and doors, except for one, have been boarded up since wednesday.
Now I know what Saddam must have felt like!
Yesterday afternoon, one of my neighbors whas actually on a surfboard in the canal while hoolking up some stormlines to his sailboat, after which he was actually surfing for a bit!
We've lost the cable several times already.
Everglades inlet looks like the conditions at the start of the Miami race this year!

Most of Martin County and much of Port St. Lucie is now without power. Cyndi says there is much wind, but not really any rain right now. A couple of feeder bands they got last night were rough, although not as bad as Palm Beach County got.

Here in Tampa, there is scattered clouds and no wind. Don't think it will stay that way though - by tomorrow we will be getting pretty viscious rains I think.

Ya'll keep the updates coming that you are getting from friends and family - I know we all have people along the Eastern Florida coast that we are all worried about.

I just read the St John's will rise 4.5 feet. We live on a canal of the river.

that does not sound good Cuda , I have seen the St Johns with high levels without near the rain amounts they are predicting. Be careful up there. If you need any help with anything when she passes give a shout. 407 468 2279 ....that goes for anyone else that may need a hand with anything in the aftermath
