Default Changing trim pump tank question

I need to replace the tank for my power trim pump. Can this be as simple as removing and replacing just the tank itself? Do I need to remove the hydraulic lines etc. or can it be done just by unbolting the current tank and installing a new one? I haven't messed with this before and I'm wondering how big a job it will be. Thanks for any advice...

It's as easy as unbolting the unit from the floor, and unbolting the tank and replacing it with a new one. The older models have a bolt in the bottom, the new ones just have the four screws holding the tank to the pump on the top side.

Cool, I was hoping it would be that simple, thanks!

you might want to suck the power trim fluid out of the tank before you take the bolt loose from the bottom of the tank or you will make a big mess
