Cool trim limit switch

Trim limit switch wire on bravo 1 broke off at puck. Read somewhere that you could rewire switch on dash to allow trim up switch to work until unit cam be fixed? Have twins and now have to use trailer switch to raise. Only problem here is drives do not come up exactly same and and hard to adjust independantly.
Anyone got a diagram that shows this rewire solution?
Thanks
