running cost onto the client. Boats are for pleasure, the do not
create revenue they FREKEN eat revenue, kinda like my bride.
PS: If your chopper is for pleasue>>>Then we live in to
diff worlds and you can not understand the probloms of the
purist go-fast owner with incomes <250K.

Smitty, You may want to check with your local ins. agent. State Farm almost wrote my DCB 1150HP. I was completely honest with the agent on what I was buying. I think if the value would have been less, they would have done it to get the rest of my insurance business. But I'm with American Reliable 3200/yr., no tickets, accidents, cat experience. Hate to write the check, but life is short.

As for your comment "you cannot understand the problems of the purist go fast owner with incomes <250K" I don't even know how to respond... I guess in your "hater" world if someone makes more than you then they are not a "purist" go-fast owner... I'm sure that more than a few on this board would disagree with this uneducated assessment.
Get a life....

With the cats that are now called deck boats or called the fastest deck boat ect., is the insurance different because it is called a deck boat or does it still go back to bottom configuration

A V bottom with enough HP can be hard to insure. I couldn't get insured on my Top Gun by any "conventional" companies. Had to go to Markel and I can assure you, it isn't anywhere near $524 a year. I have a buddy with a 30' Eliminator Daytona with procharged 500EFI's. Guy has no reason to lie to me about his coverage/premiums. How about $8K a year with a $20K deductible. Not me bro. I love going fast as much as anyone but not at that price.
Just be careful and make sure your a s s is covered guys.
