Default Carpet Still the best!

Giovanni,

Have you though about just using carpet? Still the best and cheapest. No slip and stays temperature neutral no matter how hot or cold. Still my favorite.

Good luck with your project.

Hi Jeff
Thanks to you for your kind interest
Currently I have the carpet that it was my first choice but in Italy often use the boat to go to the sea to swimming and snorkeling... so is always wet and often a source of bad smells

This is another reason I think that a spray bed liner material would work great.

Ian,

Thank you for sharing that link!!!

They have some great products, I was impressed by their Hook N Moor tool.

Giovanni, allow me to share my own experiences with cockpit flooring . .
My Donzi Corsican had the Pirelli flooring in a medium blue. Lasted well, after 10 years it was a bit faded . . but on sunny days it was very hot on bare feet . .
I to am looking at teak for flooring, as a sailor I know how well one has traction on a wet deck, but cost is an issue.
The synthetic materials used here in the states by many manufacturers on new boats also get very hot, and there have been some issues with it bubbling up and peeling within 3-4 years.
I've used carpeting in my other boats, and found it cheap and easy, make a good template, and for $50.00 you can replace it . .

Spray on pick up truck bedliner . . interesting thought, it's in my truck, tough as advertised, just not visually attractive.
Might look into thisas texture has to be a function of application.

You may want to look at Seadek, I have it installed on mine and really love it. Easy to clean, unlimited designs, soft on your feet, and does not get hot. Lots of other benefits so here is the link.
