+1 on something wrong with engine setup. My 97 did 69 gps with a 24 hydromotive on a freshly rebuilt stock 502 with cmi headers.

Me friend has a 96 27 502 mag mpi with a fresh top end. The boat runs mid to upper 60s all day every day and can flirt with 70 in perfect conditions. He runs a bravo 1 24p. Just to make sure, do you trim the boat to 4-5 on the mechanical gauge? Also bring your tabs up to at least to 3, if not a little toward 2, that way you aren't dragging tab at WOT. Other than that, it sounds like you might have an issue with your engine.

Easyrider on the performance report you posted there is a Ratio quoted adjacent the Drives that reads 1.54 (171/4 XD)
Can you or someone else explain what this means.
Does it have any relationship to the props?
Thx.....Bob

That says 1.5:1 ratio drive with a 17-1/4" X Dimension.
