I'll bet you've got a 1.65 gear ratio now that I think about it as long as the previous owners haven't changed anything. I think I remember reading somewhere that Fountain was putting a 496/B1X 1.65...

I have a 29 that originally had a 496 in it with a 1.50 Bravo 1 outdrive, and a Bravo 1 28p prop. It was freakin’ horrible!! Way to much prop for that setup!...
