the transmission seems good - i think the piece...

the transmission seems good - i think the piece of info i need now is how far should the shaft engage. then i can determine if i should move the motor mounts back some and how much.

yes - the whole transom assembly was removed and new gaskets installed. Sounds like the engine needs to move back 1 inch. The only thing i see in the way is the exhaust which i should be able to...

I didn't measure it - but it is about 2 1/2...

my only thought was they had the motor mount on...

my only thought was they had the motor mount on the wrong side of the plate - that would get me about another 1/2 inch.

or do they make longer shafts for the TRS drive?

mech thinks they need...

ok - -slightly buzzed so with that caveat in place...

I'll lay out the whole scenario so it all makes sense. 6 weeks ago running along just fine and stopped to go swimming. Took off and noticed it...
