I'm going to be on the throttles with Heater in the drivers seat. Here some updated shots of the "old" WHM now transformed into SVL 55 Adrenaline Rush.

BTW: It may not have been up front before because of the condition of....well let's just say everything, so I don't miss anything. Lots of time, money, and hard work to get it to this point..

The 27 Activator is a great boat.....I have not seen the OSS schedule...but the boat will run up front in some big seas....
I thing that was the disadvantage of the boat over the last 3 years....there have been a lot of lake races....that boat will eat them up in the 3 to 5 footers......you should call Mark K. up and get as much info that you can on the 27....since he has had the most succsess with it....

Good luck.....

hey stecz20 show me the money! To the best of my knowledge its the only canopied 27 out there.Who is Mark K.? A few success stories would be nice about now.And we'll take all the help we can get.Does anyone know who I can get the (manufactures certificate of origin) from.I need to get a title for this boat so it can be registered.Where we will be testing the coast gaurd is not very friendly. They know my name and address by heart.

Mark K. = Mark Kowalski. He and Gino Marrone had much success with the little 27 Red Devil/Winnebego F1 version in the '02 and '03 season.

Doc Legouri and his son ran the canopied version (your boat) those two seasons, as well. Great battles were fought with the black Typhoon boat usually trading places throughout the race. The boat ran strong in the Atlantic and Gulf races. The lake series was more conducive to the Extremes and Phantoms.

Good luck with the upcoming season. I will be pulling for you guys and be safe.

Hugh

to answer alot of your questions.Adrenaline Rush 27 activator ran 89.1 with flat water and weighing 4755lbs with 45gallons of gas.it is also less than 27ft,closer to 26 and has a 6ft 6in beam.that speed was reached with about 5 gallons of gas.so its dry weight is about 4500lbs and has never broke 90 yet.its 24deg deadrise is what give its big water capabilities over the phantom and extremes 21 deg (so im told) I'm yet to find out. I'll let you know after Biloxi

Heater.....keep working on her....you will find that when you go to Biloxi....the water temp is going to be 20+ degree's warmer and the air temp will also be 30 degree's higher...
If you can get her to run 89 to 90 down south..you will be in the game...the Activator dose not chine walk like the Phantom and Extreme dose....plus the Activator can turn on a rail....

Good luck with her...
