there is a lot of informative input on this thread so far, and it is really appriciated, our attempt was to make this a record of events with the earliest and following the order in which they occur, there are some really talented people involved in this build, and some really nice people that have offered their advice, which we hope will continue............

Eddie this is ticky tacky however if you plan to run OPA Class 4 with your SBI motor or Class 3 with your PR motor, you definitely need to get in contact with either Smitty or Dee(numbers are on contact page of oparacing.org) in order to find out out what GPS unit OPA will be utilizing 2016 and forward. The GPS official went public last year stating that they would be discontinuing the use of the ATTI J2 and Premier units... As Randy said above there are a lot of rumors in this sport and those 2 run the show up there and will point you in the right direction, who knows the GPS official might have spoke too soon and they were able to renegotiate with ATTI for the support needed for those units, that I dont know, Like I said ticky tacky, but just a heads up

Do you guys have the parts to rig it next week LOL? At this rate you may break a record on production times. If you go back in the archives you can see the birth of a Factory One race boat we did in 2003. Very similar idea of sharing the build with everyone. I stll have people telling me thank you for sharing my build on line. Great exposure and opens the door to potential sponsor's that want to get involved on the advertising side of it. Keep it public and not some big secret and IMO you might start getting discounts on parts as well if they see a following. You may want to move the thread to general racing for more exposure if you want it.

Is this a notched transom? What is the over all length (plum bob) of the boat? Is it under 30' or over? Over all length is from bow rub rail (if you have one) to transom. Not running surface if it has a notch.

everything is on hand or on the way, as far as moving this thread I have concerns, this thread is about showcasing the Activator, Ive seen threads go sideways, and I would hate to see that happen, but your 100% correct, I think keeping it here will be best for everyone here, no experts here, just people with a passion for this sport, wanting to share this experience.........
