Eddy there is a OPA class called P-4 that would fit your boat. Its a 85 MPH class that is speed bracketed so any style boat can run in it as long as you do not go faster than 85. You will need some HP to be competitive. Good guys in that class but most all run twin motor boats that turn very good and are bigger. SBI also has a class 4 that has about the same rules and they have a SVL boat that races that class. The great thing about a SVL is there are so many options as to what class you can race in and what org you can race in. Over all IMO its the best race boat for bang for the buck. You will figure out what works best for your team. I would suggest calling or e-mailing as many guy's as you can in the classes you may be interested in to get a feel for yourself about the pro's and cons of each. You may be surprised when you talk to a lot of different current racers what is rumors and what are todays facts LOL. Im doing my best to not be a recruiter and just want you to have all the latest info. Happy Holidays all !!!

Another important fact is location, SBI has half their schedule down south and OPA up north. Depending on ur location travel time does matter, also it is more expensive to run SBI.
