Default Rebirth of a 27 activator......

Hello...all...I figured i would start a new thread on my project....i bought this boat 2 years ago...used it for a season knowing i would put my touch on it.....$$$$.....lol....












1st part is a repeat....just to keep it all together.....last year me and mark at rage did some work as shown in the pics ....kind of self explanatory.....lol.....

I can't thank mark enough for working together on this....he does great work....So we are on part two....lol....so engine is out....that is another story....lol....I took 5gals of actitone....and hit the bilge....coating of oil is a understatement .....I sanded the bilge and used rustoleum with hardener.....used it before and worked great.....

While it's not perfect....it's a hell of alot better and cleaner....sorry no before pics.....then I did the underside of the hatch......

So.....we are going to flat board the bottom alittle...and then paint white.....Now for the engine....I went into this knowing that i was going to rebuild the engine......

So first problem....heads are frozen to the head studs....after a few days....got the heads up enough to see the water jackets are shot...in my opinion as well as the builder...welding was not an option....problem two....block was cracked between lifter bores..also jessel rockers from afr magnum heads dont fit brodix heads..😡😡😡...so long story short....rebuild went to alot of new expensive parts...$$$$....so we built a 582.....should be around 800 hp.....I will update more when we get to the next step......

So engine is almost finished....a few eye candy pictures.....this is where we are at now...will update when we get to the next step.....
