The KE 675 boats which dynoed @ approx 700hp with the bravo style drives did 98-101 depending on how they were set up as to drive height. Both boats had liners which meant they were also heavier, and mine had the generator,(Radio Active) so a lot of variables. I know the magic number is 100, but how many times will a person be up in that range, it's just nice to know in the back of your head that the boat did one time 100. Personally me, I would rather get up on plane quicker with less stress on the motors, drives, trannies and props to sacrifice 3-4 mph, so a overall set up. My guess will be 97-98 mph with those newer heavier and stronger NXT drives. Looks like an awesome package, cant wait to see the boat finished. Good Luck Jeff

To many uncertainties, your SC package on that motor is first of all totally diff. you make more boost, faster. KE was set at appr. 2.75 pounds for longevity, my point was why even have one at that point.
You'll have to ask Pat on that. Look at another scenario, the Teague 720 boat did 94 I believe. It's all realative. What was the water and air temp, and then who was driving (hell I got faster speeds than the PB mag. test did with Teague Driving)
drive height set up, drives themselves, (I had Imco Xtreme SC's) weight of boat with cabin liner, step height and so on. Also, very important, majority of boats will only go marginally faster with alot more power thrown at it. Partially hull design but mostly bravo design, after 90 is all relative in relationship of how the power is being applied, too many factors. Discussed many times on OSO, 38 slingshot, Robs whippled 500's-800 hp 100mph, 38 PP, 37 OL... I cant think of anything else at the moment. Jeff

Is the 700 boat liner or non-liner cabin?
