Yeah, we're in the James run...my 28 is a twin. 350magMPI's, Stainless Marine exhaust...had to lose some weight & add a few horses...boat actually sits a bit flatter. I'm turning labbed 27" Hyrdromotives...the Bravo 1 props don't turn as well w/small blocks, don't know why...seeing low 70's @4850rpm. Seems like I could get a bit more speed but still tweakin.

Nice....similar to New Moon...what was performance like with the single BB? What prop? Everybody likes the Bravo 1's I have better luck w/Hydromotive...seem to be able to spin more rpm's....same pitch....must be the small blocks.
Pat took on trade or did you sell outright?

No...Iwish...350magMPI's with Stainless Marine exhaust...Imention the exhaust cause the boat sits better in the h20...weight savings 100lbs per side! It also claims 25-40hp gain per engine...I see 72 @4850 w/Labbed 27" 4-blade Hydromotives. Should I try Prochargers? or Whipples? Has any one supercharged a 350mpi?

I guess Rich went the Whipple route...poor results from what I caught of that situation. Dean Nickerson has a good rep. & says the prochargers will be safe up to 5psi w/ the 350mag's. I just need more! I have a 17'-9" Switzer that ran 81 with a 200 Black max. I have recently got my sanity back & I'm rebuilding transom and restoring that boat..going with a 115 four stroke this time around. 72mph in the AT is too slow!
