I got new fuel pumps installed this week, along with some other warranty work, and wanted to make sure everything was OK. I'm about done other than fogging and antifreezin'.

But today took me back to my first sea trial with Pat. Huge seas!

I love this boat!
Both pumps bad or just one ?

Did you miss Mark's thread in the Tech forum this summer? They all do it. I've already learned how to change the oil in the water pump....for when mine go out of warranty.

The other warranty work was an oil leak that was quite puzzling. Kept finding oil in the bilge and could not figure out where it was coming from. And, like most of you, I like my bilge spotless!

Finally discovered it was coming out of the outdrive shift cable and dripping onto the top of the coolant reservoir. Turned out to be a loose seal in the outdrive. A while ago, my Merc Cert mechanic replaced the existing seal in the outdrive, but it came loose again. This time he replaced it with two seals, which looks to have worked. I'll find out tomorrow.

I might add, this one is a very rare occurance for Bravo drives.
