Hey Pat, Just added a forward Bomar deck hatch over the V-berth...Wow..that is un-nerving....measure ten times-cut once! I also added the trim rings to both hatches. It was tough to sleep on w/o air flow. Are you gonna paint the hatches on Macklin's boat? I was just wondering..looks like he opted not to paint them like REMEDY.

R Addict, Not yet...I just finished the install today. The hardest part was deciding how far forward to place it. Farther forward is good for ventilation over our heads, but looks better from the outside a little further back. So I split the difference and it came out great. I think it is 42" inside edge to inside edge from the rear hatch and about 58" from the very front of bow. I purchased the Bomar low profile from West Marine...They sent the wrong hatch twice before they got it right. I about killed someone! Then I was so pissed I waited six months to install it. I'll get a few pics tomorrow & send you one.

I think the logo came out perfect Macklin I'm going down next week to pick mine up and i will get some pics. also. That boat is really coming together now. They always look better in real life than the rendering. Just wait till you see it in person the first time. You'll be blown away!!!
I'll go with Rich on the sea trial and make sure he doesn't buy diesal
