There is an thunder 25 with O/B's (livorsi's old boat) and there once was a 32 rigged for outboards, People up north *****ed about the set up so much that it was converted to bravo's without ever running it or mounting outboards to the bracket. Cut the deck off a 28' and make it a center console that what people want with 2 verado's or yamahas.

Full tanks back? Wouldn't they be moved forward to shift the weight? 320 gal is 2080lbs- would think you could count on the tanks to be at least 1/4 full most of the time. Tanks in the gunnels? Wouldn't it be better to have them lower- low COG would make it more stable?
3 rows of electric seating? 2 rows of bolsters and a bench in the back or 3 rows? Here is the BT I was talking about (KW Poker Run 11/02)- homo seats for the captain & co-captain, center cabin entry with bolster on port side, bolster behind that one and one behind captain and bench in the back. 5 bolsters and a bench- room for all the chickys!!!
My channel is 2.5 deep but is only for 1-2 miles...

There are INFINITE OPTIONS when it comes to moving things around. You don't just change the center of gravity. You have to distribute the weight. Multiple tank options and the ability to transfer fuel like in they did in the golden days of offshore are answers to these configuration issues.

I think a 37 w/ a covergirl type cabin(or no cabin), multiple fuel tanks for balance, and 525s would be sweet for a show boat!
A simple no frills go fast, w/ less weight and less to break.
Show'em AT can build'em mean and lean too!

You have to lay the thing up completely, THEN turn the jets on to get it to release from the mold!

It''s not a problem.
The 32 I built back in about 2000 had a pair of Merc 250s and ran 68ish.
THe 33 gains 12% just from hull effeciency and now you have 300+ hp engines available with a lot more torque. Add a very nice sized cockpit gain and still a great cabin and you have a winner despite what anybody says about I/Os being the only way to go.
Plus you make the noise police happier!

You know what, the more I think about it....a new 33 A/T with and extended cockpit and a couple of the new Yamaha
350 V-8's would be a pretty cool south FL style boat!! Make it a mid cabin with an open bow and Pat, you would have one versatile people hauler/party barge!!!! I would imagine building the bowrider would not be that difficult........
