So was i my friend
He does seem to be very knowledgeable for his age
But i have a problem when someone questions my nautical expieriance. 10 yrs. before he was born i was Captaining a 95' Scalloper on 14 day trips to Georges Bank. I've fished at the Canadian line commercially to Venezuela for pleasure. I also hold a 100 Ton Ocean Operators license with nav. limits from Mobile Bay to Cape Cod. I bought my first Fountain when he was 3
I've probally drank as much saltwater as he's ridden across. Time to move on

For some yes. If they build it I'll run our Glad if we still have it by then. My personal opinion though while it could be faster than the Gladiator it wouldn't pass the Donzi ZRC or OL GTX and the boat wouldn't nearly look as good unless AT got rid of the raised, inverted middle deck since they wouldn't need the head room anymore. It would be cool though to have more sit down vees out there.

whats a 525zrc and a 525gtx boat run?
And those that buy for those few mph are gay... just like those who buys a car cuz a magazine states 1car is faster to 60 by .2sec than another.
When boats are running within a few mph of each other... its all up to the driver.
And friggin powerboat mag tests in a lake, or flatter inland water... what a joke. That is NOT what this sport is all about.

Find an owner. I'll even take care of you on it.
Talk talk talk; lets see some walking.

There you go Pat..the kid has thrown the gauntlet down!!
Miami showboat ..sitdown (or maybe not)/no cabin/3man/6man bolster /7500# carbon fiber hull.
No nav lites or anchor lites (you don't want to run that fast at night anyway)(if are running and eluding at night still don't need'em) no cleats. In fact make the seat cushions from nylon or canvas stap mesh military style for the weight. And train only ex jockeys for drivers..every little bit helps.

I do believe a true gutted 6 place race type boat from carbon fiber with the present deck would kick the competition azz with NO STAGGER

For real, Ill talk to my buddy. He was interested in the 700 boat and doesnt need a cabin and like the sit downs. He actually wants a fast cat but with insurance and everything, he thought a 700 vee would work. I'll talk to him this weekend and see if he's intersted.
