When you say the other 33, do you mean there are only two 33' AT's that have been made? If so, how on earth can half of OSO be recommending one?
By the way, Remedy is one bad a$$ looking boat!! PM me if you want the real facts on the 33. There are only 2 out there so far and I have #1. Steve |

Tom,
I just talked to Pat on the schedule for the next couple boats to hit the water. We should have another new 33 in the water in the next few weeks. Call me, and we'll take care of your airfare to come down and check it out. Yes, I am that damned confident. One other thing about your offer......as I mentioned in my original post, I've been trying to decide on a 35' boat for about 3 months now. It absolutely amazes me that other dealers act as if they don't care if they sell a boat or not. Come on, we're talking 200-230K+!!! I've been waiting since Monday for a dealer to get back to me on some very basic information. No follow-up whatsoever. I don't see how they ever sell a boat. Anyway, thanks for the follow-up and the offer to fly me down. It seems that customer service may be another reason to go with AT. |
Tom, there are 2-33s built to date. There are 2 more in the hopper.
How can so many be so confident in how well the 33 performs? Remember the 33 is 90% of the 37. The 37 is set up "right". Tweaking the balance and accouterments into the 33 package was relatively easy. Last winter we took 4 37s and 2 33s and 1 28 (including ActiveShack, crb76, myself, and LiquidThunder, the light blue/green 33, and slboatdrinks; boatfreak was in his then owned 28)... from Pompano to Key Largo and Islemoralda. The trip down was GREAT. The trip back got hairy in the last 40 miles or so out in the ocean. There were 5-8s and bigger out there, and the only thing the 33 didn't do that the 37 did do was span the bigger gaps, which is obvious by its length. The boats ride and handle EXACTLY the same. Chris, I want to personally thank you for your offer of showing your boat to Tom. Tom, one thing to remember about Chris' boat... In 2003 AT changed the deck from more of a flat deck like Chris' 2002 37, to more of a curved deck on the 2003 and newer boats. Without a "trained eye" you really can't tell the difference, but its there. The 33's deck was modeled after the new 37 deck, and is going to have some more room in the cabin height wise than Chris' boat; as well as the fact that Chris' boat is a center entry. Chris' boat was built with an EXTREMELY light layup per the original order. Also about 1/2 of the "stuff" done to/installed in Chris' boat was done by James 'excursion' on OSO. He did a fantastic job on that boat. |
Is there an echo in here?:D
Is it saturday morning yet?:party-smiley-004: |
#3 is on the floor in rigging and #4 is in the molds.
The 37s out sell the 33 about 8 to 1 which is a good thiing for my wallet. :D |

Tom,
I'm at my boat right now doing a little cleaning (I'm a neat freak). I'll PM you my phone number. I don't know what my wife has in store for us this afternoon. We have a babyshower tomorrow. Call me and we'll work something out. |
