Default Active Thunder Warranty.

I'm going to the AT factory on Friday to check out a 33 and take a demo ride on a 37. If things go well, I intend to order a 33.

After reading the thread about cockpit fading, I'm a little concerned that the boat was not immediately fixed without question and then AT work out the expense with the vinyl manufacturer. (maybe more to the story than I know)

So how good is the AT warranty? Anybody had any issues that went unresolved? What kind of warranty work have you had done? Thanks for the input.

I'm on my second Active Thunder and have had no warranty issues with either boat.

I'm with boatdrinks on this. I'm on my second A.T. and would take a third one in a heartbeat if I could afford the boatshow boat. I think this whole vinyl mess, as ugly as it my be right now, will get worked out. I think you will find the customer service you get at A.T. is way above what you would get with a large volume builder. When was the last time you had the owner of your boat company drink beer with you and hit you in the head with a dinner roll.

From the little time I have spent here in this forum since I bought mine, I am sure there is very few companies with better customer service in the boating industry. What other forums does the owner address questions and issues with all his customers, new as well as older used models? I cannot wait to upgrade to a newer and larger AT when the time comes.

Warranty= I've talked with Pat today and my problems are adjusted better than they were. Your going to enjoy going on one of Pats legendary demo rides and dont let any of this Carbono vinyl crap alter you from buying an AT. It's a great boat.

I'm going to give this more thought before I post.

I've had one warranty issue with my boat and it was fixed and sent back to me over the winter. Our boat is 9 years old. Someday we will buy a larger boat, and it will be an AT
