Wow....I just logged on for the first time in a while. What shock and sad thing to read here. Steve was always willing to do anything to make things better. I can remember so many times when i would leave Best Revenge at the factory over the winter that Steve would be the guy who would fix the small things that i broke or just clean my boat up and get it ready for me to pick up. I was going on a poker run once and the water pump impeller was trashed...didnt find this out till i had already put it in the water. Took it back to the factory, Pat had already left but Steve dropped everything to replace the impeller for me so i could get back out on the water and catch up with the run.
Great guy. My condolences and prayers to his family and the whole AT group.

Miss you Steve....Everytime I see a cool project boat,..I would think, Steve can fix/rebuild this boat and bring it back to life better than new! It's always reassuring, as I fly accross the water in excess of 75 mph, that the hands of a master craftsman helped me build a better boat!
