Pretty sure ticket sales were over around Thanksgiving.

ImaPoser 11-08-2008 08:04 PM

The question is, how many tickets have been sold to date? The sales were supposed to end by turkey day, and if enough weren't sold, they would return the money and cancel the raffle. If it's close enough that they may sell out, I'll send a check in Monday. If they haven't sold nearly enough, I won't bother. They haven't updated the original thread about it like I thought they would.

I agree with you im in if it is going to happen, turkey day is getting close, an update would be nice.

TSPM 11-18-2008 01:07 PM

UPDATE..........we are still under 160 sold...........we will most likely extend this to either XMAS or New Years. If by then we are under the 400 we will close the raffle and return checks.

AIR TIME 12-01-2008 02:42 PM

keep it going until you hit 400 with no time limit! Anyone willing to risk $250 for a ticket dosn't really expect to see their money again. Unless you have a buyer for the boat why put a time limit on it. Hell if it runs long enough I might talk myself into buying a couple more. :ernaehrung004:

spilman 12-01-2008 05:43 PM

I agree....keep it going till ya get your 400.
Where will the drawing be held? Who will oversee the drawing; witness? Sorry if this has been covered...
spil

TSPM 12-03-2008 02:55 PM

We are keeping it going till we hit 400 which most likely be after the first of the year sometime. The winner will be picked here at our showromm. Anyone is welcome to attend the drawing which will be an indepndant party. We might webcam the drawing live as well.

ImaPoser 12-03-2008 03:54 PM

Keep this thread updated as to the progress. I think once you get over 300, sales will take off right up to the limit. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels it's not worth sending in the money now just to have to wait another three months till the drawing.

Just to be updated .... we are not and will not CASH/DEPOSIT any checks until we hit 325 SOLD.

frankenstein 12-07-2008 01:30 AM

I would like to be in on this. How?

Griff 12-07-2008 10:32 AM

Click above in the TSPM post and follow instructions on his website.

raytart 12-17-2008 08:27 PM

The drawing is now April. So we now have more time to purchase tickets. Unless they sell sooner?

Good Luck to all.

Yea the updates are nice to know, so we know how close the sales are to the number needed to sell.

raytart 12-18-2008 07:09 PM

"so how much are the tickets now? things have changed a lot from what I have heard. "

$250.
Can't change the Price. If that's what you mean

Not sure of the amount sold to date. When I speak to T-SPM [Paul] I'll ask him and then post it. OR he may post something to keep us updated. I still need to purchase my ticket.

laszlo01 12-19-2008 09:12 PM

Not to be rude but the raffle was supposed to be held thanksgiving and an extension to X-Mas if it was close, last I heard it was around 150 tickets sold now its April, so basically just keep everybody's money till whenever and not post any true details of the raffle. My question at this point is do they even have a license or permit to hold such a raffle as well as who is holding the money and the big question is what legal sanction is overseeing the event ? Starting to sound very fishy in the waters.

J-Bonz 12-19-2008 09:17 PM

I am in but whats the real deal?
Jr.

Keith Atlanta 12-20-2008 01:41 PM

I cant remember what the boat is?

How and where can we send money?

raytart 12-20-2008 07:31 PM

It's legit. I've seen the boat and Paul is a stand up guy. The raffel has been delayed because not enough tickets have been sold to date.

Any updates on the raffle

Overactive507 01-11-2009 05:05 AM

If you read this thred or any other thred about this raffel you will see that nobodys moneys are held only checks wich are not even going to be cashed untill it hits 325 sold. Also a portion of the profits are going to LDA (learning disabialtys america). The reason the gates keep changing is because of low ticket sales. This dose not seem fishy at all because nothing has been gained by TSPM

Couple of little things.
Yes and first of all, TSPM is a respected person.
Yes, he stands to gain unless 100% goes to the charity.
Many of those checks will be stale-dated if he doesn't cash them soon... so they may not be honored.
And... in most states it is illegal to move the drawing date after it has been publicized. We moved a drawing date once for one of my raffles and we had to send out 6500 letters to ticket holders making them aware of the change.

I don't think he is dishonest. I just don't think that he has a lot of experience with raffles and has had a learning curve on this.

ActiveThunder 01-11-2009 08:01 AM

I was kinda wondering about that changing of the dates like that....

TSPM 01-17-2009 12:19 PM

We checked with the charity and state and you can move the date because of the charity linking. Also most checks are good for that period according to Citi Bank.

Can you change that date again or is it a definite?

I, for one, would like to see it end. You're embarrassing me.

I'm pretty sure that Overactive507 owns the boat......at least he said he did in other threads.

I highly doubt that this raffle will ever happen. I just don't think enough tickets will be sold.

Sunshadow 02-11-2009 09:00 PM

I've got four tix I think I might buy a couple more this week. Sold the Baja need a little luck to be on the water this year.

RJATX71 03-04-2009 04:32 PM

How many tickets have been sold as of today? Is the drawing still on for 4/1?

rssteiny 03-04-2009 04:54 PM

At some point it needs a final date if the owner takes a bit lower than he wants or not , it is only fare to all the ticket holders,,, just my 0/2

ps we never get what we want out of a boat so this should be no diffrent.

I'll bet on never....

TSPM 03-09-2009 11:37 AM

Raffle is still on ...... 4/1 target date and we have dropped the target sold number to 350 tickets. We are about 100 tickets away from that number.

raceday500 03-10-2009 05:33 PM

Public or Private

Is this going to be a public drawing where we can show up or is it a private drawing?
