Stumbled across this and figured id let you guys know if anyone is looking for a 37.
http://www.yachtworld.com/core/listi...=labmarineinc& Thanks for the heads up on this boat. She belonged to a personal friend of mine and the fact that she went to another OSO member means she get's to stay in the family, (aka Cult). My best to you Rich. Things will get better. All the best to the new owner, laszlo. Take good care of her. Steve |
Congrats on the purchase. Looks like you got a great deal:evilb:
|
Congrats on the purchase. Sounds like its going to great new home. I would have hated to see it sitting outside for sale for a long time. From everything I have seen and read here, you got an awesome boat. It was one of my favorites and at that price I didn't think it would last long.

No problem Steve. Glad it went to an OSO member. That boat came in right after we left Lab about 2 weeks ago putting together the deal on a new addition to the fleet. They are good to deal with. Good luck to the new owner. I have always liked that paint!!

Sad to see but as said before glad it is staying in the OSO family. Laszlo, you got a great deal on a sweet boat.
Rich, Things will turn around and you can always ride with me and my wife (your girlfriend).:p |
Thank you very much for welcoming us in, we have been wanting one for some time but with things the way they are we where unable to order a new one, so this was the next best thing. We really enjoyed the wonderful reception that Pat and Brian had for us last year at the miami boat show and cant wait till next weekend to see the boats in the water again. We will keep you updated on our progress on the boat and will try our best to make the james river event, and as well as any of you are always welcome to join us up here in michigan if ever interested in running in one of our local runs. We are very glad to be a part you guys and very anxious to meet you all in person, if you guys are half as nice as Pat has been than I am sure we will enjoy ourselves for sure. Once again thank you from myself and my wife Linda.

Congrats on the new boat. She is a beauty. |
Well hopefully all done, just waiting on the title from the old Lender to arrive, but I have a question for you. The listing shows it as a 2004 but the model number indicates it as a 2005 does anyone know which it is ? I found an old thread that said it was a 2005, just curious. Hopefully get to go pick it up soon and get it out of the weather and into her new home. Maybe see some of you at the miami boat show this weekend.

Thank you for the clarification, that is what i thought, but since the Marina has not received the title yet from the bank we could not verify it and the rates are better from 05 to o4 from my lender.
|
A boat is titled for the actual year it was built not stamped. My boat is titled a 2006 but stamped a 2007 since it was finished in Sept 2006. It is also documented as a 2006. I don’t know if the bank looks at the title or the stamp.
|
Well since the model number reflected the 05 designation they accepted it as a 2005, so all is good and just waiting on picking up the trailer and bringing her home next week.
|
Who did you get the loan through and what was your interest rate.......if you don't mind me asking:drink:
|
better tell them to put sale pending on their web site..:drink:
|
just courious if you bought this site unseen?.. I was told it needed work to the deck with the clear coat peeling off?.. could get pricy between that & any need work to engines & or drives...but if the price was right you should be ok..
good luck with her! |
I will tell you that the motors are great shape and I personally rebuilt one of the XR's not more than 10 hours ago with all new gears.
The top deck does have a few clearcoat issues, but what boat is perfect.........for what he bought it for he is WAY ahead of the game. |

NADA Low retail with options is 136k for a 2004 and 154k for a 2005. It does not take into consideration 525EFI's instead of 500's, custom paint, and some other options not listed. It is also not your typical repo boat, more of a voluntary surrender with a well known history.

ok dont know what he gave but the asking price is high imo.. nothing is bringing low retail.. exp. a repo boat...

Well I ended up using my local credit union and my loan rate ended up being 8 %, I started dealing with the regular boat lenders but was a headache due to it being called a repo, so I hired a local surveyor to go down there and do a full survey on it and it is in great shape according to the surveyor. I am not to worried about the small clear issues as my Boat mechanic does great boat paint work so if touch up is needed it will be handled by a professional as it is going straight to his shop for clean up and inspection. The price I will leave a mystery and just say that I could not pass it up knowing the quality of these boats. Hopefully this answers some of the questions, and I will leave a spot open for the old owner any time he wishes to join us for a run. I am sure we will have one of the nicest boats on lake erie for sure. I will post pics once i get her home next week.

It's nobodys business what it sold for except Laszlos and the Bank. I don't know what your interest in all this is but remember the former owner is a good friend of alot of people on here including myself so lets remain compassionate and let Laszlo complete his deal which he seems to be very happy with. :drink:

Hope you guys dont mind the plug but I just listed my Powerquest on e-bay so if you know of anyone looking for a great deal on it please pass along the information. I am passing along the savings on my old one. P.S. they finally updated the Lab Marine sight.

Are you talking about Lab Marine? Out of curiousity, did you guys look at the other sonic there, that I believe is still there (assuming this was recent). It's an 03 with checker graphics? How was it?

We are right by Grosse Ile which is at the south end of the detroit river as it connects into Lake erie, we run with LEOPA in there poker runs. Should have this one cleaned up in time for the spring run, let me know if you are coming up. Had a good thought while i was talking to pat today at the show, this should be a pat on the back for all the A/T owners out there, as there are a ton of good priced used offshore boats sitting, this one was only on the market for a few days. That must speak highly of the quality of these boats even in these times. Had a wonderfull meeting with Pat and his wife today and sorry for the 2 year old acting up. We had a very nice time and are looking forward to more events. You are all welcome to join us for any of the LEOPA poker runs this summer, as we will be the only 37 A/T running in them and hope to represent A/T well.

We will be in the fall run for sure we really like that one, I got it home late last night and its at my friends shop right now, I have to strip the clear coat on the top deck and basically go over everything on it as well as get it cleaned up since it was sitting outside for a period of time. That would be great to have the only 2 A/T's that i know of out here run together. Let me know when you have time and i will take you to the shop and show you the boat, you will love the paint job for sure.

Chris, which 32 AT do you have? Have we spoken before and did you ever bring your 32 AT to Hardy Dam? Were your engines built by the same guy as "Dominator Scott" does over here on the west side of Michigan? Do you hang out a lot at Higgins Lake? I am just trying to remember who you are and what 32 you have. Thanx
Yes, we have spoken before, but it has been a long time since we chatted. How have you been. I have never been to Hardy Dam yet. Tim did do my motors and I have never had a problem with them. Tim is awesome. I have been up to Higgins once and was getting pulled over every 30 mins because of the boat being loud. I have the 32 with the T 572 motors in it. It is purple with the scoops. Cant seem to download pics here for some reason. |
