Well to answer my own question. the answer is NO. 600SC and Bravo 1 don`t mix even if you baby it.
Previous owner rebuilt it 2 years ago and now I get stuck with having to pay for another new drive,. Went XR this time.. gonna have DR,Gadgets work his magic on it this winter.

Im a bit pissed for having to dish out $$ this soon so don`t mind me saying that I would have expected AT (after all they make such great boats right) to put a better drive on the boat from the start.

Oh well I knew it was the weak link but after driving it like a little girl I was at least hoping to make it a few seasons.

Boat
break out another 10 thousand

The XR was not introduced until after that boat was built.

Is there any chance it did come from AT with an XR and the original owner blew that and went the cheap route with a standard Bravo I and put the boat up for sale?

Nevermind, Sydwayz makes sense

We buy engine packages from Mercury. Normally we don't get to choose the drive.

that's part of boating.. we all have gone through it. Big hp, and a drive with out a tranny.. there is nothing in between, and all manufactures have to put on what is available. Even if you bought new, you'd still get the xr crap. What you need is a 28 with a Merc 700, coupled to the NXT drive.. or.. I got one better.. a Ilmor 725 hooked up to their new Indy drive.. or if you have more coin to spend.. a new 33' with twin Ilmor 725 package.. that would be a screamer..DAMN..I like that package.

Yep, thats boating.........If I was smart, should have waited, added all the $$ I put into this Tantrum to with what I paid for it, put it down on a new 33 with Ilmors and had a affordable payment.....but hindsight is ALWAYS 20/20.

BUT all $$ is nothing to do with AT....its all merc!!
